Counselling and Diabetes ?

Should there be specific counselling offered to people living with diabetes?

Things are going ok so far. I've been in my honeymoon period for the last couple of months. So haven't had to take any insulin. That seems to be coming to an end so I have started to take a little in the past week. Don't quite feel so bad about it now. I guess I have had time to get used to it.
