Covid 19

Hi

Tested positive this morning with Covid.
I had a very sore throat, banging headache, aches and felt warm. I felt mainly warm in the face and forehead but didn't have high temperature.

Today I still have a chronic headache above the left eye area, nose keeps running, sneezing, keep brining up phlegm and keep feeling tired and than not tired.

Anybody else had these symptoms or any other type and what did you take for it? I am taking paracetamol, drinking lots of water or very diluted orange. And eating small bits of food.

Many thanks

I had a sore throat, runny nose and high blood sugars.
I took paracetamol, rest and insulin - bringing my levels down helped relieve many of the severe symptoms.
Thankfully, it did not last long - except from a bit of tiredness, I was fine (and testing negative) 7 days after the symptoms started (which was 3 days before I tested positive). I was grateful for the vaccinations and being able to work from home.

my temperature did not rise above 37.5 at covid, but my head and throat ached. I gargled my throat with furacilin, also drank antiviral and aspirin to avoid complications on the vessels (but still after covid my vision dropped by 1 diopter), my bg was not normal, but I think more because I did not eat normally during the illness
