I’ve just tested positive for Covid. When I was given my tablets (10mg empagliflozin) I was told not to take them if I was unwell as blood sugar can be erratic when you’re unwell. I also take 16ml abasaglar insulin in the morning. Should I stop both? And should I stick to my Keto diet?

Please contact your HCP in the morning to ask, we can't give advice on medication.

In most people, blood glucose goes up when unwell, so stopping medication doesn't seem logical advice.
I have no experience with empagliflozin, there might be a good reason for not taking it when ill, I don't know.
I've never heard of stopping insulin when ill.
