Type 1 diabetic for40 Yeats, received letter from local health authority 8 weeks ago to say they did not consider diabetes a major factor in Covoid19. Now I've just seen on news that 1 in four people who have died in England had diabetes. I live in Scotland but surely this needs some proper guidance

There are many factors to consider. T2 is more prevalent than T1 so most of those deaths will likely be T2s, also Covid death is more likely the older you are - with the majority of deaths being in those over 80.
