Cramping Legs

For the last week I have had a weird cramping on the bottom half of my legs, front and back. I normally go to the gym three times a week, but havent been able to get there in the last couple of weeks. Has anyone else experienced this weird pain. Some days my whole legs just ache and ache and I have to take paracetamol just to calm them down. Any thoughts please?

Are you taking statins, as these can cause muscle pain (Simvastatin did this to me, switched to atarvostatin with no pain yet)

Leg cramps can be a sign of mineral deficiencies such as magnesium, salt, or potassium. Some members here have found a magnesium oil spray beneficial. Are you following a low carb diet? If so, you do need to make sure you eat enough salt.

As I eat very little processed foods, I find that I have to add salt to my meals to avoid leg cramps. (Especially after exercise.) I soon know if my salt levels are low! It can be very painful.
