I must say some of the user names on here are just great.

My own name came about when I gave myself a decent talking to, post-diagnosis, when my head was spinning. Where did your name come from?
 
i was in a state of panic when i signed up, and andy was gone lol sorry

Mine was a computer generated nickname I was given in the 90's and it's unique pretty much on must sign up sites so I just use it still

Because I'm too old to be a Beachbum ..... Think I might have to change it tho' because someone called "anonymous" thinks the best place for me is "in a beachbag with the zip done up".... I reckon anonymous has a fetish for games on the dark side

I think of you as I_Dunno rather than Andy because your dog makes me smile every time a see a post of yours. I've always identified forum people with their avatar images and get quite miffed because it confuses me if they change them!

I have another long standing user name elsewhere, but decided I'd be different for a change and used the pet name I use for one of my little Cavaliers.

Long before my regular internet days I aquired a fax machine iwth email facilities. I realised I had to choose a name for the email account. I didn't want to use my actual name for security reasons so I took part of my surname and added one of the most natural phenomenons of all time. It sounded reasonable and so I settled for that. It was all over in a minute or two, the quickest thought I've ever had! lol
 
As I despaired over the Christmas holidays about my impending diagnosis, the only silver lining I could see was that, after years of low-fat yo-yo dieting, I would now be able to fill my boots with avocados! (I've since lost 21 pounds, love my new menu and am never hungry)

I was listening to a lot of Avenged Sevenfold at the time lol

That's an awful thing to say, I hope you gave them what for!
 
I have answered this one before but am happy to do so again.

The landlady of a local pub gave me the nickname because of the amount of money I spent in her pub. It has nothing to do with my name but a place near the pub.

I chose the avatar because of another thread on this board where I sometimes cheat.
 
When I had breast surgery they injected some blue dye to help guide the surgeon. The blue dye took several months to fade. I'll leave the rest to your imagination!
