Hi. My son got diabetes a month ago. Of course i went on the net to learn about everything and i acidentally found a herb advertisement saying that cuti cuti helps beta cells regenerate and might help the body to produce more insuline. Has anybody heard about it or tried to use? I dont really find anything useful on the net. I bought a box of these cuti cuti capsules but i dont dare to give it to my son. Thanks for any comments.

Fake News. It's like all those "cures" for Alzheimer's you see advertised all over the place. Family of people with that are pretty desperate and will try anything somebody claims works. There are some even advertised on TV (but I forget the names).
Diagnosis can bring with it shock and denial, there is no known cure for type 1 diabetes and sadly there are many unscrupulous individuals out there who are willing to make money out of offering a 'cure'., particularly when people are at a very vulnerable stage. Personally I wouldn't touch these tablets, your best hope of helping your son is to become an 'expert' in managing his diagnosis, there are some really helpful books out there such as 'think like a pancreas'. Knowledge in managing insulin and understanding more about type 1 is the best way forward, use this forum too to answer any questions you have, we are all here to help and support you, best wishes
