Hi
My name is Steven, I am 65 years old and have lived with T2 since 2006, I recently upped my exercise and my BG have stabilised.
I have also reduced the meds from 3 times a day to 1 time a day and sometimes none at all while maintaining the same result.
Sleeping has improved significantly and I feel great most of the times. Recovering from the cold at mo due to the cold weather though. As it has been some time since I was diagnosed I am wary of giving up the meds completely. Any advice?

@skigano Hi Steven, welcome to the forum. What meds are you on and are you monitoring your own blood sugar, so do you know what is happening on a meal by meal basis? "Stabilised" is great, IF the number you have stabilised at is nice and low. Tell us a bit more.
If you do, eventually, give up meds, you won't be the first. A low carb diet is usually necessary.
Sally
