Pleased you've found the course useful Calamitygayn :)

it has been. While I've always been aware of the carb counting. ...my knowledge was far from useful. I honestly feel that, will the tools I now have, I can finally make headway. ...x

As your now aware the course is a little more than just carb counting. The teachings on DAFNE is a useful tool but that alone won't make a big difference unless you apply other methods too.

I found a lot of useful advise in the book Think Like a Pancreas, especially the chapter on insulin timing.

Never heard of that book. I didn't expect the intensity of the course but it is truly life changing. it has been delivered with passion and belief, I can't help but feel positive. ...

That is great and pleased your feeling so positive :)

It's not often that you sit in a room with so many other people with type 1 diabetes and that is what makes it so great, just sharing experiences and learning new things does make you feel more confident about the future.
