Hello all
I was one of the first groups try out the course 6 odd years ago and was really pleased and surprised with the stats of the course, as well as how i applied it to my life, I actually think i need a follow up now to see if anythings changed, its a real game changer for people who on the whole have no idea of carbs, Gi ETC
Stay away from the naan breads!!

I would really like to attend the course but every time when I see my consultant he says there is a long waiting list. It has been 2 years now.... Is it the same in other parts of UK? Im in London

My consultant couldn't have been more helpful in getting me on a DAFNE course, I applied and as soon as one started in my area I was notified, it took about 6 months as they hadn't got one up and running. But I can't sing their praises high enough. It absolutely changed my life. My bloods were like a roller coaster before I did the course. The main thing was getting my bi right, as soon as that was ok I tweaked around with the ratio's of my qa and was amazed that I needed 1.5 : 1 instead of 1:1 as I was told by my nurse. Now my bloods are never over 10 (unless I'm ill) and around the 5.0's mark which I am so happy with. I count carbs like they teach you, and it's so easy with their method too. Great course....stick with the wait, it's well worth it.
