hi well i have been on my dafne coarse all week and if you can get the chance to go on it don't hesitate,i can not recommend it highly enough, its great to meet other t1's to have a chat and have a clearer and better understanding of diabetes nothing can beat meeting other people and having a full week of interaction with a good diabetic team who listen and give good feedback they cover pritty much everything you can imagine and if they don't theres always loads chances to chat about any subject or worry you may have. there were people there who had diabetes for many a year who were tought old school ways and people like me who from the start were tought how to carb count but very very good all round.

I'll endorse everything that you have said. More courses should be made available, there are issues with places all over the country, it is a shame because it is a very worthwhile course.
