Know what you mean, but they do in a way by talking about the % of carbs that could come from your overall calorie intake. Main thing, however, is the general acknowledgement that lowering carbs is good. I don't think an article like this can say what a low carb diet IS, it's up to us all I guess to work out what is a "Not too many" level for ourselves. This will of course vary for each of us.
I'm on a reduced carb diet myself, I handle about 160 a day O.k so I'm comparitively lucky.
