Certainly won't do you any harm so hello and welcome..The article brought me here, and, thanks to your post above brianmt, I've bought the book too. I'm not yet diabetic, but a family history and a full on sugar addiction make me worry that I need to do something to preempt (??!) a bigger problem.

I heard it on the radio this morning, but missed the name of the person who reversed their Type 2 diabetes (daughter talking to me)

The Diabetes Weight-Loss Cookbook by Katie Caldesi and Giancarlo Caldesi
Actually David Unwin was an active forum member (SouthportGP) a year or so back, when he was trialling the 18 pilot study class using a low calorie diet regime at the time, but he was researching the LCHF diet very actively, so in a way many of us also made contribution to the book. He helped me while I was on my learning curve too. I too was hesitant about LCHF and we seemed to resolve some knotty problems from what I remember of those early days.Don't forget Jenny Philips. She's my Nutritional Therapist. She put a lot into this book as well. I see Dr David Unwin is credited for writing a foreword, he had a lot to do with the book as well.
