■ Replace refined carbs with wholegrain foods and increase intake of vegetables and other foods high in dietary fibre.
■ Reduce the amount of saturated fat and salt in your diet.
So is this feller who wrote this comment at the bottom of the page.
Lancet : Considering its been common knowledge that type 2 diabetes is linked to obesity and poor diet, it's hardly news is it, you tool? What do you want, a medal for suddenly remembering to read about it? Pathetic.
