Dairy

Most of us have insulin resistance. It is known that insulin resistance actually improves as the day progresses. This is why, for some, carbs in the morning will raise our levels far more than the same meal and same carbs at tea time.

I am another that doesn't eat breakfast. I have a coffee with loads of cream within 10 minutes of getting up. This keeps my levels stable all morning, and because of the fat content in the cream it keeps me sustained until lunch time without feeling hungry. It took me over 2 years to work this out for myself.

Maybe I need to watch at breakfast time then. Oh what a confusing this diabetes is

Hahahaha yes, confusing indeed ... and a complete mystery. All we can do is learn as much as we can and self manage our diabetes by eating to our meters. It is also a life long journey, not a sprint, you will get there.
