I was diagnosed over 20 years ago with T2 recently I was told that it was very possible that my pancreas could have been damaged after a gall bladder opp approx 26 yeArs ago. So does anyone know what type of diabetes I have? As I don't think it's T2 because when I was diagnosed I was not over weight .

Hello.
No one will be able to tell you what type of diabetes you have apart from trained medical professionals with an arsenal of blood and other available tests at their disposal.
Although T2D has a noticeable correlation with poor lifestyle choices and obesity, this doesn't seem to be the case for every type 2. And there are a lot of members on this forum who will hold fast to that.
You will notice on the forum main page there are sections dedicated to all disciplines of the disease: type 1, type 2, type 1.5 (LADA), gestational and type 3c (I think pancreatic disease/damage related?) This may make interesting and beneficial reading to you.
As always though, if in doubt - seek the guidance of a medical professional.
