I was always having hypos particularly at night. In 2015 I was changed to Tresiba much better as really is without ups abd Downs , much better control  although still not easy . Turns out lanctus wasn't lasting as long as thought so although there is now suggestion of a cancer risk better to discuss and evaluate your situation than risk poor control and complications if it's working best for you.  For me Tresiba is so much better but maybe in 15 years time that will also have more risks associated with it . Most drugs have some kind of side effect or risk even paracetamol.</p></blockquote><p></p>
