Ive been type one now for 4 years, ive always tried to have good control on my BG levels.
I have just done a DAFNE course about 3 weeks ago and thought I had it all under my belt... how wrong was I,
the targets they like I tried my hardest to do but started to find I was hypoing during my sleep and sometimes not waking through them and id have about2-3 a day so they told me to let figures run a little higher than target which I have been doing.
now problem is after a lot of tweaking the insulin for my basal and Q.A as I'm so sensitive to it I'm only on tiny doses they have said it looks like the dawn phenomenon and that a insulin pump may be best option for me.
as anyone else had this as I've never heard of it and I'm the only diabetic in the family I've got no one to talk to anyone help please????
