I had to give up caffeine completely over ten years ago and back then the decaf was awful. I am looking to lower my intake of milk (in my decaf tea) so I thought I'd try the decaf coffee again to see if things have improved. I like a strong flavour but bear in mind a not too great budget. So recommendations would be most appreciated. TIA.

OK, you will probably like this brand, Pilon, since it tastes strong despite being decaf. I keep some around in case I getg a hankering for coffee at the wrong hour or if I am worried about my stomach.

Ooh decaf espresso but I shall have to check if they sell it locally. Cheers for that.

Edited to add. Sadly, the decaf not sold locally and I could only find normal on Amazon UK but thanks for the recommendation.

IMHO it's all about the bean :) Look for an arabica & try adding a small pinch of salt (if you're not salt sensitive)
