In preparation for my annual review later this week I've just had the results back from my latest blood series

TSH 1.8
HbA1c 7.7%
Creatinine 142
*Urea 7.5
*Sodium 138
*Potassium 4.4
eGFR 52
cholesterol 3.9
HDL 2.0
LDL 1.6
Total/HDL ratio 2.0
Triglyceride 0.7

Which I'm reasonably happy about, apart from HbA1c which I'm very disappointed with - membership of the 6% club is fast becoming a distant memory. eGFR is excellent given that it was only 40 last time.

I understand most of the information but my question is: I have no idea of "good" numbers for Urea, Sodium and Potassium, although roughly understand the function and purpose of each. Any takers?!

My lab lists normal ranges as follows, Labs vary over the country though.

Urea 3.4-------------7.0
Sodium 137--------144
Potassium 3.5-----------4.9

Going by them your Urea is a bit high, best discuss with doctor next time you see him/her.
