I take it they have mri'd your back, neck, spine at some point with frozens shoulders, osteo etc? I've hadeverything you mention in practically the same years-could be twins on all of it.. including the pain. Mine that I was not aware of was largely down to aspartame, sweeteners. Diagnosed apparently 2003 , not told till 2015. Also go degeneration in hands, knees and spine. Had all the MRI's/xrays done to check it wasnt mestastis. Statins caused huge pain too. I'm intolerant to the the gabapentins etc, ended up on diazepam and butrans patches for a very long time. That was due to muscle spasms in neck from biopsies. However, got off all and never have any painkillers at all. Survive on turmeric for its anti inflammatory natural qualities. Have at least a teaspoon a day with ginger and cinnamon. Due to the damage to stomach and colon in past 5 years have mainly mushy veg for food. I am also on tresiba. 3 times on and off in last 3 years and cannot say my pains and aches are worse for it. Been back on it again since October. I had a good referral to pain physio and psychoanalyst. They noticed the way my shoulder had dropped an inch and the way I stood because of pain. With their help I still have pain but can do the self help things to minimise it although it doesnt go. ACT therapy is good for pain and living with it. As said though, I havent found tresiba worsened me.
