Hi,is it safe to inject insulin lantus with a delay of an hour the next day? Actually my son is going back to school and I have to adjust his timings of injecting lantus and I have no other option then delaying an hour. Plz guide me what should I do???

Hi @maryam123 , I moved my lantus by 12 hrs by moving it an hour a day and everything was fine.
( 2 not 12!)

I couldn't really comment on his condition, I could only advise that you keep in close contact with his care team, keep detailed notes of his blood sugar levels, food, carbohydrates, exercise etc so you can spot patterns and learn how his sugars react. It must be all a bit of a blur just now, but you'll soon be an expert in it. If you've any questions there's nearly always someone on here who can help. There's a parent section on the forum where there will be more information. If his levels are quite good already you're doing a brilliant job.
