[QUOTE="tectemc12, post: 2263324, member: 163743"] Help needed. I’m really sorry to bother you folks but I’m getting to the end of my tether with this, I had reasonable control some 3-4 years ago but it got out of control as I was looking after my mum who had Alzheimer’s after the sudden death of my dad and I guess I just neglected my control. Now that mum has passed, I want to get back in control but just don’t know how or where to start. I am 63 years old male and have T2 diabetes which I’m supposed to control with Insulin, Humulin and Humalog, I feel worn out all of the time when I go out for a walk I can manage 50-100 metres then I’m exhausted, with pain in my hips and my legs feel like lead! I stop for a minute or two and then I can go for another 50-100 metres etc. I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, at night I sleep ok but I’m up and down to the loo some night's 3-4-time’s others just once. my blood's range from 8mml to 30mml depending on what I eat. I don’t check them very often. I inject 26 units of Humulin at night and that’s it! I have no idea what my Hba1c is. Any help or suggestions you can give will be gladly and gratefully accepted.
