dishonesty and ********
I will try to summarise but I can't make it short. I hope no one has to go through this.
I live on a small island where parcel deliveries are only twice a week.

November no Dexcom G7's arrive as per my subscription.
I chase it up.
Am told i don't have a subscription.
Then they find it.
Now the warehouse won't release it.
Now they have.
It never arrives.
Urgently chasing Dexcom now
DPD returned my parcel to Dexcom.
Dexcom will investigate
Beg for parcel to go Royal Mail
1 parcel does
This cycle goes on into January another two times.

19/1/25 Dexcom G7 pairing failed
I applied a second one and that failed
Had to wait til morning to contact Dexcom
Applied a 3rd with Dexcom on the phone. That failed.
Trouble shooting done with Dexcom and tandem.
Calls to please send parcels by Royal Mail and what's happening re investigation.
I pay for my orders so I didn't try another G7 I used blood testing until parcels arrived, over a week later.
My control went hay wire and I struggled to get my sugars down all week.

28.1.25 parcels arrive
I program new pump and attach
1st G7 which fails to pair
2nd G7 fails to pair
3 rd G7 fails to pair
Phone calls and trouble shooting is done with tandem and Dexcom during all these failings.
Dexcom say no reported lot number issues.
I've now asked that they report mine as 5 x the same lot number have failed in a row.

Have to wait til next day now to talk to Dexcom
It's as if I've never reported any of the last two months!
One of my emails headed manager urgent got replied with 'how to make effective adhesion with you G7'!! What?! Clearly no one read the email

Last night the newly paired G7 alerted me to a hypo and switched off the insulin supply as it should.
Did a blood test and I was 5.2. A third blood test did confirm a hypo a few minutes later but I was well aware of it physically,
After some time I was still hypo. This went on and on, but then the pump stopped giving me any results so the pump switched the insulin supply back on .
I manually stopped the insulin supply as this was dangerous whilst I'm still in a hypo.

I continued doing blood tests until the sugar started to rise some time later and I re started the insulin. Also my calibrations were accepted then a message to say not accepted re do, came up repeatedly.

Still no G7 results
This morning results back on. But G7 said 6.9,
now I'm not trusting so I do blood test, it says 9. I calibrate. Mins later G7 says 11 and tells me dose to correct. I do blood test and it says blood still 9 so I re calibrate as G7 incorrect.
25 mins later calibration is now not accepted.
Then G7 tells me my blood is 15 but I don't need insulin due to what's on board.
Then it tells me I do need a dose.
Check blood sugar and it's 12.

This has been a huge heap of stress i could have done without.
I've had failings before when on G6 ages ago, it did for 3 months. G7 were meant to be a big improvement

I'm totally wiped out
But luckily for me I'm mostly on the ball as best as I can be because the potential for bigger problems was huge.
Wouldn't wish this on anyone

What a nightmare @megan Have you contacted your endocrinology team to tell them what's been happening to you? If not, I'd suggest you write a detailed email to them, and ask for their help.

I've written to them. I actually get to see them on Monday but it's a lot to explain and the appointment will be around three hundred pounds for thirty minutes. so I have to be constructive about what discussions we have. I'm hoping to discuss the lumps at cannula sites I wrote to them about earlier in December
They have a pump clinic once a month and although I can write to them, I don't always get a reply
But this time I'm sure I will
