DHBA2?

The surgery contacted me yesterday advising I needed bloods. I've collected the form and will get one of my hospital colleagues to take my blood.

I thought it was for HBA1c which is what they mentioned on the phone. However, the form says DHBA2. Any idea what this is testing. Google doesn't help and even some of my medical colleagues are baffled!

Can it be that someone made a mistake when printing the form?

It could be a code for the lab for a particular blood test profile. I used to send samples to a lab where we could select certain profiles (ie more than one test on a sample) with a single code.

id contact the surgery and ask.p if you can.
