Hi folks. First time asking a question in a long time. Does anyone have any knowledge of the effects/outcome of using dhea and melatonin supplements? Thanks.

“With some hormones, if you take too much you can really put your body in danger,” says Dr. Wurtman. “With melatonin, you’re not in danger, but you’re also not very comfortable. It won’t kill you, but it’ll make your life pretty miserable.”

And he is the guy who patented it.

Thanks John. Interesting piece. I got taken in by the melatonin mantra way before I was diagnosed T2. Then I went thru a period when I didn’t take them. Not long after, I became T2. Not suggesting, don’t know if there’s a link or not. The book that put me into the Melatonin mindset is The Melatonin Miracle by Dr Pepperali
