Anonymous Question Diabetes alert bracelet?

I think there have been several attempts to produce one but don't think anything is available.
Other posters may have more knowledge about this.

Several years ago a device known as the 'Glucowatch' was being produced that was worn around the wrist just like a watch and monitored the B/G levels over a 24 hour period by monitoring the B/G level through the back of the device being in contact with the skin. It failed to gain popular support due to the prohibitively high cost of the test strip (disk) that was used within the device.
In recent times 'Google Medical' have pioneered monitoring B/G levels by the user wearing a simple contact lens, the signal that the sensor records then being transmitted to a monitoring set of glasses that the user wears or to a pocket receiver. As I understand it monitors B/G levels on a minute by minute basis and can give warning if levels are exceeded or too low.
More information on this recent invention is available on the internet and as I also understand it, interest has been shown in this early development model and manufacture and production is being planned in quantity for the future.
