Morning all

Hope you are all well? Quick question - since being diagnosed with T2 Diabetes I’ve noticed that antibiotics seem to take longer and longer to work - has anyone else noticed this?

I have ear infections now and the right ear is well into the second week and I’m also onto my second course of antibiotics- different and stronger ones than last week

Your thoughts would be great

A couple of things to consider
- when your BG is running high, you are more susceptible to illness so you may find you get better quicker when your BG is lower.
- many people with type 2 diabetes have it without knowing. Therefore, the date of diagnosis is rarely the date when you got diabetes.

I’ve been diagnosed 8 years now but I’ve noticed that things take longer and need stronger antibiotics that’s all. It’s annoying to be fair
