Hi Rj
Blisters are definitely not a good thing.
As has been suggested, the podiatrist is what you need. I know their appointments are like gold dust.
Isaw mine last week and she likes my toe socks. These protect my individual toes. Ibuy silk ones from TOE TOE online. they aren't cheap, but work. I have Morton's feet, which are difficult to get footwear for( this is a congenital condition and not diabetes related) the other thing is to get shoes with deep wide toe boxes, which FIT. Too big can be as bad as too small, so if your feet are wide, you will need a specialist supplier. Somewhere that stocks Hotter or Clarks shoes. A foam insole may help too
