Hi, I have been type 1 for just over 20 years. Im now in my 40s and have been on a pump for 9 months. Im finding my diabetes is getting me down more and more. My brain cant get my head around some things, my diabetes impacts my other health conditions, well the list goes on. I know im not the only one who feels this way, I just wish there was more information out there about how to cope. I feel like a terrible mother as my husband is disabled and both of us struggle to work too. Im on anti depressants, does anyone do anything else to help their mental health? Thanks.

Hi @Cla!r24 ,
Diabetes burnout is a real thing and it happens to many of us.

I would contact your hospital team to ask if they can help, many teams work with a counsellor or psychologist specialised in diabetes and how it can affect mental health.
