Hi,

I am a diabetic male living 27 and have been living with Diabetes T1 for 14 years.

Recently I have been suffering with a loss of libido an I cannot explain why. I do not suffer with depression etc and I am not normally suffering problems in that area but over the last few months I have noticed a real sudden loss of sexual drive.

Is this an issue that can be caused by Diabetes that anyone is aware? ..... Would you recommend seeing a doctor etc?

Any help appreciated.

I would get a referral to the [hate the name] sexual dysfunction clinic, although you may feel initially embarrassed, they do this stuff all day every day.
they will probably run blood tests for hormones and all sorts of stuff and still do the psych stuff because although you may not feel depressed, there could be an emotional component.
what you don't do is do nothing, ask your Dr for a referral
