Dear SugarPlumFairy I’m so sorry for your loss, I’ve been type 1 Diabetic since 1979 not very tight control over my blood sugars but I got them in good control and in 1993 got pregnant, I had a lot of Pain at 6weeks gone so my specialist sent me for a scan, it revealed that I was having Twins. My specialist didn’t know what to treat first my Diabetes or my Twin pregnancy, it was hard work at the time but on 30th March 1994 I had my Twin girls, 7 weeks early. They were small but for 7 weeks early were 4lb 2oz and 4lb 6oz which meant they only stayed in special care. 2 years passed and I conceived again, thankfully only one baby and hard work looking after 2 year old twin toddlers and keeping my diabetes in tight control but after extra care from my diabetes team I had a little boy, 3 weeks early. I’m just trying to give you a boost to say keep your blood sugar levels as tight as you can as if I can do a twin pregnancy with Diabetes and then 1 baby after that you can do the same, once your there you will feel very proud and I wish you very well all my love Jade0106 xxx[emoji8]
