Diabetes and Nut Allergy

Hi All

Please can anyone give me some advice regarding the recipes that use almond flour (in the diabetes.co.uk downloadable books)... what can I use instead without ruining the recipe?

Can you eat coconut or sesame seed? Sukrin do both these as flour (available from their own UK site or Amazon). I found coconut flour too absorbent and couldn't cope with baking with it, but I like - and use - sesame flour - in addition to ground almonds.

Coconut is a no go but will try the Sesame flour, thanks :)
