Type 2 Diabetes and piercings

I have type 2 diabetes, I was diagnosed early January of this year.
Back in march I have gotten a piercing for my birthday, simple basic nose piercing; and it really is taking a while to heal, and I'm having trouble keeping my sugars below 200..
I knew (thought) that it would take a while to completely heal, but 6 months?

Does anyone here have a piercing and having to deal with long healing periods? And when does it completely heal?
 
Hello! I personally find that my piercings (lip,ears,nose) all heal too fast actually; so I'm quite the opposite! not much help I know, very interested to see what other replies are, never thought about this X

BS control is a factor with piercings..
A number of years ago. I got my eyebrow done..? It never realy took. Inspite of "surgical metal" & bathing regularly to keep clean..
I removed it after weeks of perseverance.. Ironically the hole healed up within a couple of days...?

Never had any issue with a tattoo..
