Diabetes and radiotherapy

I have recently been diagnosed with cancer. My treatment will include radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Does anyone know if either of these will impact on my diabetes ? I am type 1.5 and on insulin, metformin,gliclazide and sitagliptin.

sorry to hear your news, I hope all goes well, My dad has been diagnosed with cancer too, he goes for radiation in 2 weeks
