Diabetes care volunteer- info needed

That's very admirable of you, I believe the easiest way to help in regards to volunteering is to contact your local GP and ask them about volunteering your services, they should be able to put you in touch with the right people from there, also contact Diabetes UK https://www.diabetes.org.uk/ They too can put you in touch with local groups, good luck

What a fab goal.

Most areas have some kind of voluntary assistance organisation.
Where my parents live (village, about 8 miles from hospital, with v poor bus service), there is a group of volunteers who offer their services transporting people to and from appointments; clinics, doc, dentist, opticians, physio, osteo, chiro, etc.

The person receiving the lift makes a payment to the organisation, while the person offering the 'taxi service' gets their petrol costs paid. My parents volunteered for years, and became very familiar with the best parking, access, and so on.

I am sure that registering with an organisation like that would be a good springboard into further services you might be able to offer.

You could try local volunteer organisations that place people in all different volunteer roles.
