Diabetes complications

Hi guys does anyone else have these complications all at the same time I'm a new diabetic it has only been six month but I have recurrent infections, muscle fatigue, extreme tiredness, elevated cortisol levels, extreme cold hands and feet, nausea, high heart rate and because of elevated CRP levels when they're higher it's also hard to control my BG. These symptoms are bothering me so much I just want to know if they're due to diabetes and if I have to learn to leave with these at these age it's kind of hard for me to accept all these, they're affecting my daily activities and the fact that I have took so many antibiotics in such a short time.
 
Hi @Awiiiiin and I'm sorry you are feeling unwell. Forum rules don't allow us to diagnose (and I'm not a doctor) but I wouldn't personally be assuming that these conditions are due to diabetes. Have you talked to a doctor about this?

Most of the diabetic complications that I have heard of happen after a much longer period than 6 months.
 
Yeah I even told him that if I'm having all this complications this early then I won't be shocked if they have to amputate my leg in 2 years

How are your BGs (Blood glucose.) in general….
 
Well I'm so good at managing it when my CRP is not that elevated but when they're elevated it's another level the insulin feels like water and I feel faint

So what numbers regarding your blood sugar levels ar thrown up when “elevated?”

Illness in general is known to push insulin needs up so maybe high CRP levels do too? (Wild hypothesis here, not based on known facts)

Are your doctors doing anything to investigate the reason for the elevated CRP? Or are they saying it is caused by the T1? (My googling suggests it can be linked to T2 diabetes?)

I don't think so because it doesn't really indicate the type it's just that you probably know that high BG can put you in a higher risk of infections especially UTI and most of my infections was due to UTI

I had mediocre to poor control (or possibly poor to very poor) in my teens to early twenties and yes I got a lot of UTIs and thrush. As I'm sure you know, once your bg goes over 180ng/dL (10mmol/L) you pass sugar in your urine so high bgs tend to lead to UTIs and thrush.

Are your team helping you to adjust your doses so as to reduce these levels? (Speaking from personal experience of such levels, they don't necessarily lead to long term complications if you improve your bg control, but you don't want to stay so high long term.)

Are your team still thinking that you might possibly be MODY. (I remember that was an issue when you first posted)
 
Yeah but as I said they don't do that test here so I might study abroad for college and get tested afterwards
