In any case I find staying low gi seems to work well. I am going to try low carb cycling but obviously keep carbs still moderate and nothing starchy to send things soaring on my carb days.

It looks like it might be a variant on the Newcastle diet (meal replacement shakes and ultra low calories) which I wouldn't recommend anyway but there are lots of threads on in the low calorie section of the forum if you wanted to do some investigation.

Hi I don't think it's a diet. I think it's some plant based shakes alongside your normal meals at set times. Just can't find the darn ingredients etc or I would have at least tried it.

The ND is a shakes based speedy weight loss programme. Can work for some but very hard to maintain weight loss through crash dieting. Low carb eating is far easier, tasty, and can often lead to sustained loss of excess pounds.
