Hello ladies,
I was wondering if anyone has any advice. Am Type 1 on a pump and now 33 weeks pregnant and am constantly hungry!! I normally do low carb only eating but this just isn't hacking it at the moment but even if I have a good (small as can't fit much in) meal I'm starving again a few hours later. I think this is normal at this stage but it's making managing my BMs a nightmare.
Does anyone have any advice for good snacks that will fill the hole but not cause havoc with my sugars? Or how do you manage your insulin with snacking?
Thanks!

Hi jess, my diets not the best just now but find I need to eat at least hourly to keep sickness at bay... Been taking squares of cheddar, tomatoes, celery, cucumber to work to snack on when sugars aren't low enough for carbs, but if you're low carbing you prob know better than me what we can eat! Used to eat cooked chicken, boiled eggs and nuts as low carb/carb free snacks too but can't stomach right now! A tiny bit of hummus might be ok to break up blandness of veggies? (Think it's about 5g carb per 2 tsp)

Months behind you so will let someone more knowledgable step in!
