so India has a great number of people with type 2 diabetes despite having a so-called healthy grain based diet

for example lentil curry and rice [it is not the saturated fatty doughnuts usually associated with diabetes type 2]

the so called experts have been lying to us - definitely diabetes 2 is a disease of starvation and not having enough primary protein in the diet - the protein in beans is obviously not sufficient for a lot of people

the more grains the population consumes the greater their numbers develop type 2 diabetes

Interesting.
But i advocate a theory its boom is due to the increased consumption of processed foods, hydrogenated fats and artificial flavour enhancers.
Not to mention the feeds given to livestock and fertilizers (grains link?) that have been introduced to the foodchain and increased pollutants.
Take tapwater also, its chorinated, this is toxic to the pancreas. I use a water filter now.
A culmination of events if you will.

Shouldn't you be looking at per capita consumption.
India and China consume more in total because they have the Worlds biggest populations.
Here is a per capita map:

and whilst looking for it came across this which puts the figures into perspective.
