Diabetes insipidus

I don't, but a work colleague does have diabetes insipidus following a fall. Her symptoms were an incredible thirst and constant need to visit the loo. She now has a nasal inhaler of some sort which she uses on a regular basis to control the thirst.

I had diabetes insipidus as a side effect or complication rather to being severely hypothyroid. No matter how much I drank I couldn't get properly hydrated. Extra salt helped as did a course of cortisone I was prescribed for my asthma. Since on thyroid meds I have no problems at all.
