Hi
A while back i went on the waiting list for the DAFNE course by the diabetes nurses at the hospital, i went to see a dietrian a couple of weeks ago and she sent me a list of the dates the courses are running. I then rang and agreed to go on the DAFNE course in February 2014, i then recieved confirmation of the booking and also an appoinment to go for a pre-course meeting. Two weeks later i recieve a letter from the DAFNE team along with another list of dates for the courses (same dates as i already had) telling me if i do not respond and book my DAFNE course they will take me off the waiting list. What i can't work out both letters i have about the booking and about taking me off the waiting list are from the same department what is the matter with these people i'm fed up having to keep ringing them and explaining so i have decided to take these letters to my consultant and tell him how useless his diabetes nurses are as this is not the only problem i have everytime i go to see them i never see the same nurse twice and i have to keep explaining over and over then i have them telling me to do different things they keep contridicting each other.
hopefully he might be able to help with sorting these nurses out.
