Diabetes patients needed for Paid Research

My name is Sue & I work for EMS research In W4.

We are compiling a panel of DIABETES patients that we can call upon when we are conducting research on diabetes

We are bound by the Esomar Code of Conduct & can assure you that any details given will be kept totally confidential, will not be forwarded to any third party, and will not be used for any other reason except research

You will be PAID for any future research - it is an opportunity to have a say in the way your condition is managed - all research conducted is for the ultimate benefit of the patient

If we're already participating in a medical trial for Diabetes would that effect things?
I'm currently on the ASCEND trial with Oxford University and the British Heart foundation ( http://www.ctsu.ox.ac.uk/ascend/). That would mean that I can't say for sure what medication I'm taking as I have no idea if the tablets I get are Aspirin & Fish oils or just a placebo.
