Followed the link that 'catherinecherub' put on here to join up to take part in diabetes research, and someone just rang me. A few questions just taking personal details, and to ask if I still wanted to take part. Then they're sending some info in post, then a follow up call in 2 weeks, then I'll be put on the data base.

I already take part in diabetes research. My local hospital has a major diabetes research department. The research I've taken part in is mainly to do with heart disease and diabetes. It is an interesting way to spend my day off.
