Hi everyone,

My group and i are doing a project to raise the awareness and motivation of all diabetic patients to manage their type II diabetes.

We would really appreciate it if everyone can help us fill in this survey so that we have a better perception of the problem and could potentially come up with solutions that prevent the aggravation of disease in many people. what beats helping the health of others?

THANKS!

I have completed the survey, but I have some comments, which may or may not be of use.
1. Eating out 4 times a week would be a lot for me, zero is more like the real answer.
2. I don't eat processed food so salt and sugar aren't an issue.
3. High sugar is only part of it, carb content is just as important and frequently overlooked by everyone, except for most diabetics.
4. & 5. Glycemic load is just as important.
12. I recognised 2 things immediately, but the third isn't obvious unless memory loss equates to confusion.
13. You might like to ask how many people no longer obtain test strips on prescription because some medics reckon type II diabetics don't need to test. Very controversial and an area where diabetics know more than the medics.

Why is it I think that surveys are often poorly constructed. Lots about medication and no radio button for people not on medication. Why can't you do more exercise when you have already ticked the max button etc. No button for people who never eat out.

I could go on. Probably will given half the chance.
