Is there anyone here fitting that?

I would like to know if so, if they got help for it and where and what happened, like what was the next step after telling someone? Was getting help helpful or make things more complicated?

I've been lucky to have a GP who helped me recognise my addiction to ultra processed food (mostly refined carbs and sugar) as a root cause of my struggles to control my T2. The condition is not formally recognised yet, so no formal support is available, but I have been pointed to some useful resources that apply to dealing with addictions in general. Just being able to attach a label to my struggles has been extremely useful and has given me a useful framework to start dealing with my challenges. I guess it depends on what you are facing and what support is available locally.
