I have been reading a lot recently about how ppl seem to not be getting support and advice from their diabetes team. I just wanted to say that i attend Ayr hosp and i think they are all absolutely brilliant. If they cant see me they are always on the other end of the phone for advice. Im so lucky.

your lucky , if i ring the diabetic nurse she tells me not to contact her unless i am on insulin, she reckons my gp is responsible for my care ,perhaps she has too much of a workload.

I gave up ringing my dsns (there two of them at my clinic) a long time ago.. Hence I joined here to get some info and answers when I need them rather than in 6 months time :problem:
Theyre both very good but also very much overloaded with work too (as theyre so good in clinic a lot of patients spend a lot of time with them)
