Diabetes to Pre D

Hello All,

Now my fasting sugar is always between 109-125.. and post meal and random sugar is less than 200.. does that mean I am pre-diabetic from diabetic.. I was 85kg when was pregnant and now my weight is 72.9kg in four months after delivery .. my Bp is 140/80..

Well done on the weight loss! I was about 82 or 83kg at the end of my recent pregnancy and then still eating keto/low carb mostly after the birth and while breastfeeding I was down to 72kg by 2 months, but now I'm 73 - 74kg again. Some of it is water weight I think because any day I eat a few extra carbs, I'm always a kilo heavier again. And the boobs! Well, before or after breastfeeding is another kilo difference! ha ha

Did you have T2 or Gestational diabetes?

And were you diagnosed in pregnancy or before?

I had GD during preganancy.. once delivery the sugars had gone to normal but after a month the sugar was high again hence now I am T2..

Ah dear, so only a month before it hit you.
. Did you do a follow up GTT to get the T2 diagnosis? Or would that have been too early for that test still?
