If i start taking regularly and start a health eating will this lower it.
Welcome to the forum, I assume you mean regular exercise. Healthy eating for a lot of type IIs on this forum is low carb and there will be different opinions of what constitutes low carb.
By way of an example, when I stopped eating bread, potato, rice, pasta, (total carbs down to approx. 40gms per day), I did not increase fat, my BG dropped enough for me to stop taking Gliclazide, Januvia and Atorvastatin, all of which were making me more ill than the symptoms of diabetes. I was very determined and did it straight away and the lowering of BG and throwing away of the drugs happened in weeks rather than months. I also lost 4 stone over just as many months, probably because I didn't increase fat and had cut my calories by 1/3 just by cutting out carbs.
It may not be for everyone, so maybe cut down more slowly, my wife for example who wants to lose some weight has cut out lunch time and breakfast bread, much easier now she's retired. Pasta was easy to cut out, rice is next. She's finding it much easier to cut things out more slowly. My situation was different, I was being prepared to go onto insulin, not a problem, but my cousin and father both type II on insulin, and both struggle with proper control of their BG, so I was more desperate.
So exercise and lower carbs is the way to go, your BG meter, which is essential, will tell you how successful you are. All the best.
