Hi I'm Kathryn. I have Type 1 Diabetes myself. I am a trainee broadcast journalist at Sheffield University - currently creating a video about pre diabetes and how this can develop into Type 2 diabetes if people don't change their lifestyle. I have a pre diabetic case study, and I'm currently looking for someone with Type 2, who's had it for a while and may have faced/overcome some complications that you wouldn't mind sharing.
It would involve a short interview about how/if diabetes has affected you much, and if you think pre diabetic diagnosis will reduce complications in future etc. It would also be a bit of filming of your day to day life - walking/exercising, cooking, checking glucose levels etc.
The video will not be on TV it's for assessment purposes, and may be offered to Diabetes UK to advise other people afterwards.
